Rising 2nd-6th Grader Parents
We are preparing for summer! It is right around the corner and we have a camp possibility for our rising 2nd-6th graders: basketball camp @ Hinds Bee Hall Gym (Hinds Community College Raymond, MS). Like last year, we have coaches and players that are going to Guatemala on a basketball mission trip in July and all proceeds will go toward their trip. The camp focuses on teaching fundamentals of basketball with a Christ-centered focus. We will have a daily time where we share from God's Word. You will be supporting missions while your camper learns fundamentals! We want it to be a fun experience. Below is the information and the link to register.
When: May 26 - 29 (starts on Memorial Day, but campers can also start the next day if any conflicts will holiday plans)
Time: 9-11:30am
Location: Bee Hall Gym, Hinds Community College, Raymond Campus
Cost: $100 (includes a camp t-shirt)--payment is payable to Active Impact International
Grades: Rising 2nd-6th Grade
Purpose: Learn–fundamentals (passing, dribbling, shooting), defense, drills can use at home, fun, learn the game and hear God's Word
Last Day: Competition Day
Basketball Coaches: Coach Zuro and Coach Maner
Volunteers: VB and VG from MSCS basketball team planning to go to Guatemala
Important: all proceeds from this camp go to coaches and players going to Guatemala on a basketball mission trip (sharing the Gospel through basketball camps and playing games)
Important Information: participants should wear tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirt and bring hydration (labeled water bottle/drink)
Register by May 12th (the sooner the better–allows for ordering of shirts)
