MISSION TRIP OPPORTUNITIES

Church Mission Trips

Is your church interested in participating in a short-term mission trip (7-10 days)? Do you want to partner with Active Impact International due to our focus? Is your church exploring missions and wanting to form a commitment and build relationships? Is your church possibly a small church and you want to join other churches going on a mission?

  • Gospel-centered mission trips that partner with local schools/communities/churches/missionary

  • Vacation Bible School (VBS) themed trip: Gospel-centered (sharing of Gospel), Biblical VBS theme, various stations (Bible lesson, arts/crafts, activity, etc).

Athletics (Basketball)

Do you share a passion for basketball and want to use it as a tool for the Gospel? We have various opportunities to take basketball teams to various countries with a Gospel-sharing emphasis. Teams can represent a school/college/university or be a part of an Active Impact Team that is comprised of players from various locations. (Our focus at this time is basketball, but will consider other sports with this similar emphasis)

  • Share the Gospel: to teams playing, venue location (spectators), campers, etc

  • Play age appropriate teams: high school to club teams

  • Organize mini-basketball camps at various locations, various times, and group sizes

  • Coaching clinics: teach various skills that our visitors would like taught

Education

Are you in education (teacher, administrator, coach) and want to use your gifts for God’s glory? Would you like to help other schools, teachers, administrators in other countries using your talents and skills from your profession? We partner with schools in various countries and many of them request professional development (PD) in various areas. In all the areas below we want to help schools from a Biblical worldview and Gospel-centered focus. We want to serve and also learn—be prepared to learn from those you are working with and building and fostering a relationship with them. Our goal is to foster relationships where we return to the same location for 3-5 years (as needed). You can use your gifts to help in the possible areas:

  • Teachers: work with teachers in your field to help them (this can be in many ways)

    • how to teach something without supplies/needed resources (creative means to teach)

    • teaching students at various education levels in one setting (challenging students at their various levels)

    • assessment (various ways to assess to students progress)

    • provide resources/means to help teachers grow/be better prepared in their field

    • classroom management/organization

    • collaboration: teaching group work/teamwork

  • Administrators: work administrators to discuss various challenges faced in administration

    • classroom management

    • assessment

    • PD to improve and help teachers become better professionals

    • functioning without resources and using what one has

    • parent/family (stakeholders): building positive relationships

    • increasing 21st century skills

    • collaboration: teaching group work/teamwork

  • Coaches: work with athletic personnel (teachers/coaches/PE teacher) to develop their programs

    • class management

    • health and fitness ideas/possibilities

    • teamwork

    • using resources available

  • In all PD we want to share and encourage:

    • the love of Jesus: being vessels for His glory

    • Gospel-centered education/Biblical worldview

    • Gospel-centered discipline and discipleship
